About Our Events
Here you will find an updated list of our upcoming events. These events are open to the public and all the money we raise goes towards our mission of helping pets live their best lives.
We hope that you come join us at these events and have some fun while making an impact.
We are a volunteer based organization, and we truly could not do it without the help of all the amazing people who give their time to help us host events, foster animals, run our building and take care of the cattery.
The funding we earn from these events is utilized to make sure our amazing volunteers have the supplies they need to take care of the animals in our foster program and in the cattery. Funds are also used to provide full veterinary care, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccines, surgeries, diagnostics and treatment for the pets in our programs. Each event you attend, and the funds and goods you donate make an impact. They allow us to do more good and save more lives.
This year we plan to expand our education program. We truly believe that by providing education to the community we can help more pets stay in their current homes. Our goal will be to reduce the number of unwanted pets in the community.

2023 CPR & First Aid
Hosted by Jackson Certification Services
In 2022 we expanded our educational outreach. We want to help educate the community on how to better take care of their pets. These seminars, hosted by Archia Jackson, help educate individuals on warning signs to look for in your pet. The class also discusses how to address various issues if you cannot get into your vet right away, and explains how to perform pet CPR. Classes are open to the public at a cost of $60 for non-members and $20 for members.
Our 2022 Gala
Talk about a beautiful event! The 2022 Gala was held at the Double Tree in Bay City! The entire staff was very accommodating, and we had spectacular feedback from our guests! That is why we will hold our 2023 Gala on October 27th at the Double Tree once again.
This past year we had both a silent and live auction, as well as entertainment by Comedian, Magician, and Entertainer Cameron Zavara. He hosted an amazing show, and if you ever get the chance, we highly recommend him for any special event you are planning.
We want to include the entire community in this event, and we are inviting all our supporters to attend. We will post updates as we get closer to October 27th, 2023, but we do hope you consider joining us! Tickets will not be available at the door, but we will offer online purchasing options, and of course, you can always stop by the building during business hours.
All the Money we raise at the Gala goes to supporting our mission of saving, protecting, and enhancing the lives of animals in Bay County. We hope you attend in 2023 and help us make this the most spectacular event of the year!
