Matti was born in May or June of 2014, a tiny tortoiseshell kitten destined to live out her life as a feral cat. That fate changed when she was trapped by Humane Society volunteers and taken to the garage of Jeannie Willecki Nichols, where she began the process of socialization. When the day came for Matti and another kitten to be spayed, Jeannie’s neighbor Lisa Chadwick offered to help.
