Cats have been living close to humans for more than 10,000 years. They typically live in groups called colonies and have strong social bonds with their colony members.
These un-owned cats are called Community Cats and, if left uncontrolled, are subject to overpopulation and illness.
Community cats are not socialized to humans and are unsuitable for shelters or adoption. HSBC does not remove or relocate feral/community cats. Learn more about our Trap-Neuter-Return program.
HSBC has cat shelters available free of charge for your community cats. Simply visit the office during regular business hours or contact us to schedule a pickup.
We also hold periodic shelter building workshops. Follow our Facebook page and watch for our next event.
