Services of the Humane Society of Bay County are made available through the generosity of people like you. Your donations directly support our efforts to increase animal adoptions, advocate responsible pet ownership, and eliminate unnecessary euthanasia. We greatly appreciate your contributions.

Your tax-deductible donation supports many programs:

·      Spay/neuter rebates to promote the health of cats and dogs.

·      Bay County Animal Control – ongoing support including Kuranda beds and medical care.

·      Adopt a Pet advertisements in The Bay City Times feature one animal each month that is available for adoption.

·      Central Bark Park – equipment and improvements for the dog park at the Fairgrounds.

·      Community Outreach - financial assistance for emergency or special circumstance pet care.

·      Many other worthy activities.

Donate Items

We are always in need of the following items:

·      First-class postage stamps for mailing letters and rebates

·      Gift cards for pet food and supplies to help owners with emergency needs as well as gift cards for general supplies needed by the Humane Society

·      The Humane Society asks people to donate shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, bleach, towels, bedding and pet toys to Bay County Animal Control.

·      The Humane Society has established a Pat Pantry at the Salvation Army.  Please donate pet food and cat litter to them at 10^th and Adams, Bay City, Mich.

Give of Your Time

The Humane Society is always in need of volunteers for its programs and activities.  Volunteering is the best way to help the Humane Society.  Please consider our volunteer opportunities.
